...there was a small site called "Rocket Web."  Rocket Web (or RW) was born in my imagination in fall of 1999, finally taking shape in Dec. that year.

     When I created RW it was an act of love to honor one of my favorite show.  Also, I created it because I was very frustrated with the general lack of care put into most Pokemon and TR site.  My hope for RW was to give the Pokemon community a entertaining and interesting "zine" filled with not only the fact, but my thoughts & commentary on the world of Pokemon in general.

     Rocket Web was well received, climbing to #10 on "Jesse's Most Evil Team Rocket Sites" and #3 on a Top site list.  I had many e-mails from people who enjoyed it (and a couple of pieces of hate mail form people who felt they could do better).  But after only four months, RW met it's demise and became a mere heartbeat in the general history of Pokemon.

    Rocket Web was a joy, but it's success was it's down fall.  My hope was to do a small fan page, so when RW hit 2000 visits in only it's second month, I froze.  My brain just didn't work any longer from the pressure of that many people visiting the site.

     However, in this shrine RW does live on.  I thank everyone who has/had visited here...  It was wonderful to know that my work was enjoyed by many & got such praise, even from those I most admire!
